I just made a preliminary release for a Quick Look plugin for Mac OS X.

You can see it here: https://jpegxrquicklook.codeplex.com/

The source code set up is pretty much a mess. I haven't much experience with C so I'm going to have to learn how to set up a better source code tree later on. Right now jxrlib is part of the source code tree as a static library which is pretty undesirable. The plug-in seems to work quite well though right now and it came together pretty painlessly I'm happy to report.

Just tried it out--congrats! However .jxr files with alpha don't seem to work?

Cheers =)

Yeah, no alpha support yet. That's just due to me throwing up the code in a fairly unfinished state before I got into a period of busy college work. Currently it doesn't test the loaded jpeg xr file for an alpha channel, so it fails when trying to convert a .jxr file with an alpha channel to rgb24. Very simple fix, but there's a few other bugs I want to fix at the same time while I'm at it so I'll do them altogether next time I have a chance to sit down with it.
